Red Yeast Cholesterol

by buzzing health on May 18, 2009

Cholesterol is a lipidic, waxy alcohol found in the cell membranes and transported in the blood plasma of all animals[2]. It is an essential component of mammalian cell membranes where it is required to establish proper membrane permeability and fluidity. Cholesterol is the principal sterol synthesized by animals, but small quantities are synthesized in other eukaryotes, such as plants and fungi. It is almost completely absent among prokaryotes, which include bacteria.[3] Cholesterol is classified as a sterol (a portmanteau of steroid and alcohol).

Red Yeast has been used for hundreds of years for their health. It has been shown that red yeast actually lowers bad Cholesterol and it works so well that in America there have been a few drug companies that have challenged its manufacture and block its production but because its a natural substance it cant be patented.

Look it up it may just save your or a loved ones life.
